Career Development Presentation Request for Faculty and Campus Organizations

First Year Seminar (Freshman, 60 minutes) - An in-depth dive into major and career exploratory resources to guide students towards their career path. Students will take Traitify career assessment in class. Required for all FYS courses.
Internship Program Info Session (Sophomore/Junior, 15 minutes) - Internship search strategies, requirements, and registration information.
Effective Resume Writing (Sophomore/Junior, 60 minutes) - Do's and don'ts for resumes, plus how to tailor your experience to the job description.
Event Preparation (Sophomore/Junior, 15 minutes) - Tips on how students can prepare for professional events on campus such as job fairs, networking, and mock interviews. Topics include professional dress, elevator pitch, and how to do company research.
StrengthsFinder Career Assessment Presentation (Junior/Senior, 60 minutes) - MUST MAKE REQUEST ONE SEMESTER IN ADVANCE. Online career assessment highlighting student strengths and how to utilize them for goal setting.
Job Search Strategies (Senior, 60 minutes) - Career Development staff will look at what it takes to start a successful job search including networking, online searching, LinkedIn, and tips on developing a personal brand online.
