This special BHM edition of an NMBCC signature event will feature a conversation between Dr. J. Kameron Carter, Professor in the Department of Religious Studies, and Dr. Judith Rodriguez, Assistant Professor in the Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies. Dr. Carter will discuss theory of black religion from his forthcoming book The Anarchy of Black Religion: A Mystic Song (Duke UP, fall 2022), as well as a follow up work entitled Dark Church: A Poetics of the Social.
